Arts Center Lines Up Winter Classes

The Watchung Arts Center begins enrollment for Winter Cycle of Children’s Art program and Yoga.  All flyers and registration forms can be downloaded at www.WatchungArts.org or email wacenter@optonline.net or call 908-753-0190 to receive a copy of the forms. 

Yoga: Winter Yoga classes are now accepting registration! The Winter Term will begin on Monday, Jan. 9 through Saturday, April 14.  Visit the website for registration classes and times and to download a registration form. 

Children’s Art Enrichment Program for ages 6 – 12 is continuing to accept registrations for the Winter cycle of the Painting and Drawing Workshops.   The Painting Enrichment Workshop will be held on Tuesdays, 4:30 - 6 p.m.: Jan. 10, 17, 24, 31, Feb. 7, 21, 28, and March 6, 13, 20. The spring session will be a shortened 8 week program held on Thursdays, from April 12 to May 31.

Drawing Enrichment Workshop will be held on Thursdays, 4:30 - 6 p.m.: Jan. 12, 19, 26, Feb. 2, 9, 23, and March 1, 8, 15, 22.  The spring session a shortened 8 week program will be held on Tuesdays, from April 17 to June 5.

Winter fees are $140 + $15 supply fee (WAC members $135 +15 supply fee) and the Spring fees are $105 (WAC members $100) + $15 supply fee. Sibling discount of $10 after first sibling paid in full. Please bring a small snack and drink to class.

New gallery hours: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday: closed; Wednesday and Saturday by appointment only; and Thursday and Friday: noon – 3 p.m.
