A special event celebrating the annual opening of the Children's Garden and new gazebo will be held at Wagner Farm Arboretum beginning on May 14th. Children's activities will include face painting, balloon art, flower planting, yoga for children, read-a-louds, art lessons, and frame decorating a well as other opportunities to learn about gardening.
A Spring Boutique, featuring many new vendors offering a variety of gift items as well as homemade goods, will be held on May 13th and continue through May 15th. A plant sale, offering a wide selection of annuals, perennials, and vegetables will also be available. Master Gardners will be on site to assist you in making the right purchases for your landscape and garden needs.
A Bird House contest will also be held with winners being announced at 3 pm on May 14. All enteries will be on display from 11 am to 4 pm. Visit the website for further details and entry form.
