'Murder' Ballads on Sunday at Farmstead Arts

Here's a little something to sing to your sweetie or kids for Halloween.

The Farmstead Arts at 450 King George Road in Basking Ridge will present a Halloween treat of 16th century murder ballads and other creepy stuff by harpist Odarka Stockert, guitarist Red, and Special Guest David Alonso on percussion on Sunday afternoon.

A  fog machine and cool lights will add to the atmosphere, according to information from the farmstead. The concert is in the farmhouse with $10 admission fee per person.

Purchase tickets at https://farmsteadhalloween2013.eventbrite.com/   Tickets may also be available at the door starting at 4 p.m. on Sunday. For those who haven’t heard the marvelous sounds of Odarka’s harp and voice, here's a YouTube video where you can see and hear Odarka — harpist and singer, along with Red, guitar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQiQV1zssvI
