Weather Forecast Pushes Warren's Outdoor Concert Indoors

Tonight's program moved to Watchung Hills.

The Warren Township Recreation Commission's Music Under the Stars free concert for Thursday has been moved inside, thanks to the predicted hot and rainy weather forecast.

Drew Nugent and the Midnight Society will perform in the Performing Arts Center at Watchung Hils at 7 p.m. Nugent specializes in performances of jazz favorites from the early days of jazz, with compositions by Eddie Lang, Joe Venuto, Jelly Roll Morton and Bix Biederbecke among the selections.

The show had been planned for the municipal complex, but the expected thunderstorm activity forced the change. Residents are welcome to bring thier own refreshments, however, food and drink cannot be brought into the PAC, and must be enjoyed in the school lobby.
