Yankees' Pettitte To Speak at Stonecrest Fun Night
Aug. 31 event will include outdoor activities for families.
Stonecrest Community Church's Aug. 31 Family Fun Night will include an appearance by New York Yankees pitcher Andy Pettitte.
“We are delighted at the opportunity to provide an event like this and to bring the community together for a night of fun,” said the Rev. Brent Haggerty, lead pastor of Stonecrest Community Church.
“To have a heavyweight like Andy Pettitte come and share in this with us is a testament to his character and our work here at Stonecrest."

In addition to Pettitte's appearance, the event will include food, a carnival and inflatable games for teens and children, and a silent auction of autographed sports memorabilia.
Those attending should bring their own lawn chair for seating, and in the event of rain, the event will be held in the church's main auditorium, with overflow seating available throughout the Stonecrest building.
Admission tickets are free, and can be reserved by going to the event page on the Stonecrest Community Church website.
Stonecrest has already scheduled several other events for the fall, including The Sportsmen’s Harvest Feast at 5 p.m., Nov. 3; and a live nativity—Bethlehem’s Treasure—at 7 p.m. Dec. 21, 22, 23 and 24. All are welcome.
