Diego Milara Named Assistant Project Manager

River Drive Construction, one of New Jersey's leading full-service construction companies, based in Elmwood Park, recently announced the promotion of Warren resident Diego M. Milara to assistant project manager and estimator from intern.

"Diego's promotion to assistant project manager and estimator reflects River Drive's ability to grow our own talent," Joseph Langan, president of River Drive Construction, said. As an assistant project manager and estimator, Milara's roles at River Drive Construction include assisting with the analyses of real estate development ventures; performing comprehensive analyses of appraisal reports and preliminary project plans; and accruing information to be used in pro forma financial statements. Most recently, Milara has been responsible for preparing detailed estimates for multifamily development projects.

During his tenure as an intern at River Drive Construction, Milara helped assemble detailed bid packages for architects and owners on several multi-million dollar projects. 

Formerly, Milara was an operations management intern at Kvaerner North American Construction in its Canonsburg, Pa., office. Kvaerner is a construction and engineering firm based in Norway.

Milara received his bachelor's degree in construction systems management from Ohio State University and is currently pursuing a master's degree in construction management from Stevens Institute of Technology. Milara, who has achieved the level of second-degree black belt in tae kwon do, resides in Warren, and speaks fluent Spanish.
