Buy Groceries, Help Wagner Farm Arboretum

Whole Farms in Vauxhall will be donated a portion of day's proceed for WFA greenhouses.

Wagner Farm Arboretum has teamed up with Whole Foods Market in Vauxhall to help raise money for its new Greenhouse Project. Whole Foods-Vauxhall will donate 5 percent of the day's total net sales on March 21 to help raise money for three new greenhouses, part of the arboretum's expansion plans.

These new greenhouses will provide educational programs, a native planting area as well as a Butterfly Conservatory, all available to the public. In addition, they will support the Growing to Give program of the Giving Garden through the nurturing of seedlings in Greenhouse No. 3.

Protecting the young plants started by the children in the program allows for healthier plants that produce better lettuce, peppers, beans and other vegetables which are donated to local area food banks.
