Readers' Choice for Preschools? It's Union Village [VIDEO]

We knew many readers would weigh in on our Readers' Choice poll on preschools this week, but didn't anticipate how many.

Your participation made the poll one of the best features we've ever had on Warren Patch, and it proved what we already knew: Warren parents can choose from some outstanding local preschools.

At the end of the day, Union Village Nursery School edged out Mountain Top School for Young Children by a final tally of 176-137, with the Learning Experience garnering 54 votes, the new Primrsoe School 45, and the Goddard School picking up 11.

Of course, we don't just rely on the poll—your comments mattered, too, and it's safe to say parents had great things to say about the schools.

"To see so many parents go on and vote, and add comments, was very heartwarming," Union Village Director Frances Pearlson said.

The school's teachers—and students—were excited to receive the Readers' Choice distinction—next week, we see what the Readers' Choice for St. Patrick's Day celebrations is. Who is your choice?
