Readers' Choice for St. Patrick's is 'O'Rolfy's'

The German-American restaurant goes green for St. Patricks's, becoming a local favorite.

Tomorrow might be St. Patrick's Day, but the corned beef has been cooking and getting served all week at Rolf's.

And that may be why Warren Patch readers picked the restaurant better known for its cuisine from further east as the Best Place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Warren.

Head Chef Max Zichelli has been tending the Irish delicacies all week, and said the traditional corned beef and cabbage, corned beef sandwich and the Irish Potato Leek soup have been favorites—but the Shepphard's Pie and "Judge" Murphy NY Strip Steak dinners are also popular.

Needless to say, tomorrow's St. Patrick's Day celebrations—which will kick off at 4 p.m. with the Michael Craig Band—will surely see patrons enjoying the Irish beers, including McSorley's Ale, Killian's Red, Smithwicks, Guiness Stout, Golden Monkey and Long Tail.

We'll continue our Readers' Choice polls on Monday, with a look at Warren's choice for dance studios.
