Warren Engineering Company PS&S Continues Reorganization

Company promotes Promotes Todd Heacock, Glenn Kustera and Ron Weston.

today announced that Todd R. Heacock, P.E., has been named Executive Vice President and Principal-in-Charge of the company's Building Group; Glenn P. Kustera, P.E., S.E., has been promoted to Vice President and Principal-in-Charge of PS&S' Structural Group; and Ron Weston, A.I.A., L.E.E.D., A.P., P.P., has been promoted to Associate Principal and Operations Manager of PS&S' Architecture Group . The appointments, part of a company restructuring following the January 1 appointment of John Sartor as President and C.O.O. of PS&S, will take effect immediately.

As Executive Vice President and Principal-in-Charge of PS&S' Building Group, Mr. Heacock will oversee the firm's architects, structural engineers, geotechnical engineers and mechanical/electrical/plumbing engineers. With more than 36 years of experience in the AEC industry, he is responsible for the integrated design of a wide range of commercial, educational, institutional, industrial, and residential buildings. Mr. Heacock, a licensed Professional Engineer in nine states, has won numerous design awards for his projects and continues to lecture and publish articles on engineering design and the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Among Mr. Heacock's projects at PS&S are: the Red Bull Stadium in Harrison, NJ; The Allegra Hotel in Long Beach, NY; A.M. Best Headquarters in Oldwick, NJ; the Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino, Harrah's Hotel and Casino, Bally's Wild Wild West Casino and the Showboat Hotel expansion in Atlantic City, NJ; the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ; and the Visy Paper Recycling Plant in Staten Island, NY.

"Todd's work on some of the firm's high profile projects has been exemplary; his knowledge and experience in the AEC industry has helped to provide excellence and efficiency for our clients time after time," said Mr. Sartor.

A graduate of Rutgers University, Mr. Heacock holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, with highest honors, in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from Northeastern University.

As Vice President and Principal-in-Charge of PS&S' Structural Group, Mr. Kustera will succeed Mr. Heacock as Principal in Charge of the Structural Department managing the day to day operations of a team of engineers and BIM technicians. Mr. Kustera's 20 year career has involved projects of increasing complexity utilizing steel, cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete, post-tension concrete, masonry, stone, timber, cold form metal, shallow/deep foundations and all types of low, mid and high rise construction. Prior to joining PS&S in 2001, Mr. Kustera spent nine years in the South and Midwest working on a wide variety of projects.

His recent projects at PS&S include: the Red Bull Stadium in Harrison, NJ; Montclair State University Student Housing Project in Montclair, NJ; hotel and casino projects for Harrah's and Caesar's in Atlantic City, NJ; and the BAPS Hindu American Religious Center in Robbinsville, NJ.

"Glenn's experience using complex business materials has been a strategic advantage for our clients," added Mr. Sartor.

A graduate of Rutgers University as well, Mr. Kustera holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and is currently a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey and Texas, and a licensed Structural Engineer in Nevada.

As part of the restructuring, Ron Weston was named Associate Principal and Operations Manager of the Architecture Group. With more than 28 years of professional experience as an architect, he has led the design and planning of a diverse range of projects regionally, nationally, and internationally. His portfolio of projects have involved multi-million and billion dollar programs across a variety of real estate and building types including commercial, residential, hospitality and mixed-use facilities.

He has extensive experience in the education sector having actively participated in the design and construction of more than a dozen new school buildings such as: Rockoff Hall Student Residence Building for Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ; PS51 School in New York, NY; Passaic Five Elementary Schools in Passaic, NJ; Camden Catto School and Early Childhood Center School in Camden, NJ; Bronx Studio School and Sunset Park High School in New York, NY; Education Testing Services in Princeton, NJ and many more.

"Ron is highly respected by clients and industry colleagues for his ability to deliver high quality designs on time and within budget," Mr. Sartor added.

A graduate of Syracuse University, Mr. Weston earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture and later attended New York University for Post Graduate Studies in its Real Estate Certificate Program. He is a registered Architect in New Jersey, New York, Missouri, and Washington DC. Mr. Weston is also a Professional Planner in New Jersey, LEED AP, and affiliated with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) as a Certified Architect.
