What Should Fill Long-Empty Warren Village Storefront?

The Warren Village Shopping Center at Mount Bethel Road and Mountain Boulevard is a busy place featuring active retail stores, restaurants, a Kings Supermaket, Starbucks and more. So why has what looks like a prime storefront—Unit 12—been empty for about three years?

Patch talked with a number of the shopping center's merchants, and they said they could not fathom the reason for the continued vacancy of what once was a beauty salon. The empty shop boasts a For Lease sign in its window, and the building appears to be well cared for and in good condition. It could be a great site for a wide variety of business types.

So, Warren, what do you think? What type of business would you like to see take over Unit 12? Another type of salon? A small book store, perhaps? How about a tiny tacqueria?

Whatever you'd like to see fill the vacant space, share your thoughts in the comments box below. We want to know your opinion of the type of business that would be good in this space and for Warren—in short, your vision for this vacancy.
