School Make-Up Days to be Discussed at Watchung Hills

Regional district will decide how to make up for lost time.

The Watchung Hills Regional Board of Education is looking at how to make up for the time lost during the power outage after Hurricane Sandy, and when members meet at 7 p.m. Monday, they'll discuss a plan for making up the seven days missed.

The board is considering two scenarios, one which uses several days from the spring break and one that doesn't, and will decide at the meeting.

That leaves Green Brook schools as the final district to adapt a plan to make up the days—last week, Warren, Watchung and Long Hill districts approve calendar revisions. Green Brook will meet next week to decide its changes.
