Watchung Hills Board to Bid Farewell to Fallon, Seelig

BOE prepares to welcome new members.

The remaining members of Watchung Hills Regional Board of Education's Class of 2006—Peter Fallon, of Warren, and Paul Seelig, of Watchung, will be leaving the board at the end of the month.

At Monday's board meeting, the board will take a few minutes to note their contributions to the school over the last six years with resolutions, and very possibly, cake.

Both decided not to seek re-election, although Fallon originally filed to run and later withdrew. Fallon's seat will be taken by current Warren Township Board of Education President Gregory Przybylski; Barry Hunsinger will step into Seelig's spot.

Resolutions noting their contributions could be lengthy—Seelig served as board president (at times with Fallon as vice-president) and Fallon was instrumental in the board's last teacher contract negotiations.

Look for our full coverage of the meeting, including the salute to Fallon and Seelig, this week.
