High School Budget, Township Committee On Tap This Week

School board also set to review students' community anti-bullying project.

The Township Committee will meet Thursday evening, and though the agenda has not been posted, members may have changes to the township's temporary budget it's working under pending completion of the regular budget.

But reviewing the state of budget planning is definitely on the docket for the Watchung Hills Regional Board of Education, where Superintendent Frances Stromsland and Business Administrator Timothy Stys will continue a review of the budget and budget process they began at the Feb. 4 meeting with an overview of the timeline for the budget process.

Board members will also hear a presentation about the project by Watchung Hills students to bring their anti-bullying message to the wider community, and an effort to get community members to wear white on March 8 to share their "Not in Our Town" philosophy.
