Strategic Planning, Final Meeting on Tap This Week

Warren school officials look to public for guidance.

It's no secret there are lots of changes underway inside classrooms these days, and Warren schools are no exception to those changes.

Coping with technology, curriculum and demographic changes keeps educators on their toes, so members of the Warren Township Board of Education want to know how residents want them to deal with those changes.

The district has been working on building a strategic plan to guide those decisions for the next few years, and Wednesday night, the board of education will host a public session where residents can share their ideas and thoughts.

The meeting, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the middle school, was originally planned for the beginning of November, but was rescheduled.

We're looking forward to hearing the public's comments at the meeting and the discussion of the strategic planning underway.
