PEACE QUILT EVENT AT FABRICLAND SEPT. 21

 On Saturday, September 21, the Sewing School at Fabricland, 855 Route 22 in North Plainfield, will host its 8th Annual  Peace Quilt Event from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. to observe International Peace Day – a  day of global ceasefire and non-violence. Sewers of any skill and age level (10 years and older) will come together  to create ‘group effort’ quilts which will be donated to local organizations. There is no time limit and everyone is invited to join in to sew up quilt squares and contribute their efforts in a fun, relaxing environment.  This event is free and all tools and materials are provided by Fabricland.  Registration is necessary by calling 908-755-4700 ext. 140.
