Hello everyone! Spring has sprung and so have the many excellent events going on in the WHRHS Arts Department.

First of all, congratulations to Tenzin Tsepel, Victor Li, and Jake Bahr for being selected and participating in the All-Eastern United States Chorus and Orchestra program in Connecticut early this month! Being selected for these groups is the highest musical honor for students in the eastern United States. Also Congratulations to Krishti Bhaumik for making the New Jersey All-State Mixed Chorus this past Saturday! A job well done!

In other chorus news: This Thursday though Sunday, the 80 students from the WHRHS Chorus will be attending the Virginia International Music Festival in Virginia Beach, where the Combined Chorus, Advanced Chorus and the Small Vocal Ensembles will be Adjudicated. The students on the trip will sing in front of a panel of judges and will be critiqued on performance and musical interpretation with feedback and performance suggestions provided to the ensemble.
