THE ROAR OF THE GREASEPAINT, THE SMELL OF THE CROWD! is a musical about Cocky, a man who is ebullient in nature and always plays by the rules, engages in a Game of Life with the cunning, imperious Sir, who always ignores rules. This allegorical plot examines the maintenance of the status quo between the upper and lower classes of British society in the 1960s. The two main characters are Sir and Cocky. Since Sir forever is changing the rules of the game of life, downtrodden young Cocky always gets the short end of the stick. Assisting Sir is his eager disciple Kid, anxious to pick up bits of wisdom while helping keep Cocky in his place.

 

The cast of 34 includes senior Ben Bouffard as Sir and junior Lauren Farnell as Cocky. Senior cast members include: Dan Grant, Lauren Scott, Lauren Panzarino, Samantha LaScala, Monica Leysa, and Taylor DaSilva. Junior cast members include: Sophia Kider, Jackie Adams, Matt Fiacco, Andrew Rotolo, Taylor Giamundo, Connor Magidson, Natalie Martinelli, and, Taylor Lyons, Dan Stapperfenne. Sophomore cast members include: Julia Golkin, Rejy Dreyton, Silas Baker, Elizabeth Hseuh, Stephanie Schneiderman, Hannah Song, Janine Villarreal, Brooke Kupferman,. Freshmen cast members include: Ryan Prestera, Jack Pacetti, Stephanie Chavanne, Christie Zomer, David Kalwicz, Eric Bautista, Jenna Stetz, Caitlin Iannella, and Angela Celeste.
