Excluded Senior from the 2014 Yearbook

I would just like to hear everyone's thoughts on how they would feel if their child was EXCLUDED from the Yearbook the last year that they will be at Watchung Hills Regional High School. A situation where they were not even mentioned ONCE in the entire yearbook, not even in the index.

An AP Scholar with Distinction, a Scholastic Art Writer, a beautiful girl who devotes her time to volunteering in Africa. This is her last year at WHRHS and she's a graduating senior who has been treated as if she doesn't exist! The school could barely utter out an apology. They treated it as if it was the child's fault that she was not included in the yearbook. How can a child possibly heal from this damage, thinking that people don't find her worthy or important enough to acknowledge her existence? Her graduating class will continue on with the rest of their lives with this exact yearbook, thinking that she was not able to graduate or not thinking that she was a person at all.

I have heard from several other students that a few other graduating seniors have had their names and pictures misplaced from their classes. Honestly, whoever was in charge of the Yearbook Committee this year deserves to be fired. I cannot even BEGIN to express the pain that my family has felt. It is seriously too ridiculous.
