Warren Township police said they were called to a report of a residential burglary on John Drive last Friday, with the called logged at 11:42 a.m.
However, police said that when an officer arrived, no items appeared to have been stolen.
However, police confirmed that an unknown person had forced entry into the residence, the police report said. Damage had been caused to the front door, the report said.
