Mountain Avenue Resident Reports Jewelry Theft

Sept. 29

Police are investigating the theft of jewelry from a Mountain Avenue home, reported at 7:47 a.m. No additional details, incuding the value of the items taken, are available at this time.

Sept. 27 

Police responded to an accident on Liberty Corner Road, at Independence Boulevard, at 6:36 p.m. after a vehicle driven by Saba Mahvash, 59, of Basking Ridge, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by David Szelingowski, 27, of Morristown. No injuries were reported in the accident.

Sept. 25

Police responded to a report from a Somerset Hills Hotel guest that $500 had been taken from their room. The report was made at 12:42 a.m.

At 12:08 p.m., a Community Place business reported someone entered the premises overnight and took $700 in cash.

Sept. 24

Police responded to an accident at King George and Mountainview roads at 8:08 a.m., after a vehicle driven by Zoila Gpnasolano, 34, of Kearney, hit a utility pole guide wire. No injuries were reported.

Sept. 23

Police, rescue and fire personnel responded to an accident at 3:32 a.m. on Saw Mill Road, after a vehicle driven by Michael Allocco, 21, of Gillette, left the roadway, rolled over and hit a utility pole. Allocco was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Medical center for treatment of injuries.

At 9:39 a.m., a Livingston Avenue resident reported a theft from the residence; no additional details have been released.

A Sage Drive resident reported the theft of a safe from the residence. The theft was reported at 3:34 p.m
