Dec 6

At 11:22 a.m., a Mountain Avenue resident reported the theft of a mailbox.

A King George Road resident reported damage to Christmas lights placed outdoors for the holiday. The report was made at 1 p.m.

Dec. 5

Two Bridgewater men were involved in an accident on Liberty Corner Road, near Mountainview Road, at about 8 a.m. when a vehicle driven by John Palmer, 41, side-swiped a vehicle driven by David McGovern, 35, while traveling on the road. No injuries were reported.

A police officer patroling Mt. Bethel Road at 10:41 a.m. noticed someone had broken into an unoccupied house by prying off wood planks and breaking a glass door.

A Geiger Lane resident reported the theft of a mailbox sometime during the night.

A second incident involving vehicles side-swiping each other occurred at 5:39 p.m. at the same location as a similar accident at 8 a.m., when  vehicle driven by Mehmet Duman, 55, of Wayne, struck the side of a vehicle driven by Darren Bellouny, 48, of High Bridge. No injuries were reported.

Dec. 3

Police investigated the reported theft of about $50 cash from a vehicle parked on Stiles Road. The report was made at 6:48 p.m.

Dec. 2

At 8:54 a.m., a Willow Woods Trail resident reported the theft of a cell phone from their residence.

Police investigated the reported theft of $2,000 in cash from a vehicle parked on Old Forge Road at 2:58 p.m.

Police responded to minor accident at 6:09 p.m., after a vehicle driven by Frank Dibaise, 19, of South Plainfield, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Samuel Douglas, 60, of Voorhees, on King George Road. No injures were reported.
