New Business Reports Credit Card Fraud

Warren Township Police Department's daily activity reports for the week of March 4.

March 7

A representative of Bounce Factory, on Mount Bethel Road, reported a fraudulent $528 credit card charge had been made to a company account overseas.

No injuries were reported following an accident at Liberty Corner Road, near Route 78, after a vehicle driven by Raul Giron, 27, of Silver Springs, Md., hit a vehicle driven by Louise Fellers, 50, of Morris Plains, at noon.

March 6

Jose Ayala, 34, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with shoplifting at 2:19 p.m. after police receoved a report from the Walgreen's Pharmacy, in the Pheasant Run Shopping Center. Ayala was taken to Somerset County Jail, in lieu of a $1,500 bail.

March 5

No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Elisa Calderone, 58, of Warren, hit a vehicle driven by Donna Steffes, 55, also of Warren, as the vehicles travled Liberty Corner Road, near I-78, at about 7:50 a.m.

A Mt. Bethel Road business reported the theft of copper pipe valued at about $700. The report was made at 12:59 p.m.

Police reponded to an accident at 1:24 p.m. on Mountain Boulevard, near Mt. Bethel Road, after a vehicle driven by Charles Everett, 54, of Bridgewater, struck a vehicle driven by Betty Gallagher, 78, of Martinsville. No injuries were reported in the incident.
