Warren Man Owes $24K in Child Support, Police Say

A Warren man wanted for failing to pay more than $24,000 in child support was arrested last week when he was found sitting in a car after hours at a Watchung Park, police said.

John Entrup, 42, of Warren, and Eugene Perone, 44, of Somerset, were found inside a car at Mobus Field last Tuesday at about 3:30 a.m., Watchung Police said.

Entrup had an outstanding warrant out of Somerset County for failure to pay $24,127.62 in child support, police said. After being arrested, he was remanded to Somerset County Jail pending a court appearance.

Perone had a $500 warrant out of Bound Brook and was released pending a court date in that municipality, police said.
