Forgery, iPhone Theft Reported

Warren resident says a former friend forged check for $800.

A Tina Lane resident reported Monday an incident of forgery, involving a former friend of the victim, Warren Township Police said.

According to the police report, the resident said the friend had forged an $800 check.

Police also received a report of an iPhone, valued at $600, stolen from inside a Mountain Avenue residence. The theft was reported at 5:37 p.m.
