Accidents on Mountain Boulevard, and on Mt. Bethel Road

Warren Township Police Department's daily activity reports for the week of June 13.

June 16

Police responded to a multi-vehicle accident at 2:40 p.m. after a vehicle driven by Richard Caccamo, 29, of Frenchtown, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Connie Rotondo, 19, of Warren, forcing her vehicle into another, driven by Vincent Viviani, 58, of Kinnelon. No injuries were reported in the accident on Mountain Boulevard, near Mt. Bethel Road, and no summonses were issued.

Police said a vehicle driven by Joseph Walker, 17, of Warremn, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Tracy Mastrogiancomo, 47, of Annandale, at 3:04 p.m. on Mt. Bethel Road. No injuries were reported in the acident.

A Warren resident reported damage to a vehicle parked at Watchung Hills Regional High School at 3:23 p.m. The vehicle was scratched; no estimate of the cost to repair was provided.

June 14

Mikhail Vaisman, 62, of Basking Ridge, was charged with careless driving after the vehicle he was driving on the shoulder of Mt. Bethel Road, near Reinman Road, pulled out in front of, and was hit by, a vehicle driven by Kevin Waitkowich, 18, of Bridgewater, at 9:18 p.m. No injuries were reported in  the accident.

June 13

Police responded to an accident at the King George Road exit from I-78 at 7:55 a.m. after a vehicle driven by Desond Castello, 31, of Stamford, Conn., struck the side of a vehicle driven by Cecilia Blionski, 52, of Newark. No injuries were reported and no summonses were issued at the scene of the accident.

Alfie's Restaurant, on Town Center Drive, reported the theft of outdoor furniture valued at $150. Police are investigatng the theft, which was reported at 11:56 a.m.  

June 11

Police responded to an accident at 4:57 a.m. at Liberty Corner Road, near Tanglewood drive, after a vehicle driven by Cindy Francis, 26, of South Bound Brook, hit a telephone pole. No injuries were reported in the accident, and no charges were filed.

A Foxglove Drive resident reported someone used their personal information to fraudulently open a credit card account.

No charges were filed after a vehicle driven by Matthew Gildenberg, 19, of Warren, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by John Nakonechy, 55, also of Warren, on Mountain Avenue, near Primrose Way, at 12:42 p.m. No injuries were reported in the accident.

No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Mary Leahy, 79, of Basking Ridge, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Richard Hildebrand, 63, of Winter Haven, Fla., on King George Road north of I-78, at 7:19 p.m. No charges were filed following the accident.

At 8:27 p.m., police responded to the Hillcrest Road overpass after a vehicle driven by Mary Zett, 17, of Warren, hit a traffic sign after she lost control of the vehicle. No summonses were issued following the incident.

June 10

Police responded to an accident on Dubois Road at 2:47 p.m., after a vehicle driven by Swapnil Kumar, 33, of Evansville, Ind., went off the roadway and hit a stop sign. No injuries were reported at the accident site, and no summonses were issued.

Police responded to an accident on Mt. Bethel Road at 3 p.m., after a vehicle driven by Jessica Ray, 17, of Warren, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Anna Zamikhovsky, 34, of Bedminster. No injuries were reported, and no one was cited in the incident.
