Driver Leaves After Collision on Stirling Road

May 10

Police are investigating a reported hit-and-run accident that occurred at 2:32 p.m. near the entrance to Watchung Hills Regional High School, after a vehicle driven by Jasmyn Eichelsdorpher, 17, of Green Brook, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Henry Tobjy, 17, or Warren, which hit a third vehicle. The driver of the third vehicle left the scene before police arrived. No summonses have been issued, and no injuries were reported at the scene.

May 9

Police responded to an accident on Technology Drive at 11:50 a.m., after a vehicle driven by Carlos Salas-Castro, 25, of Summit, backed into a vehicle driven by Rodrigo Montesinos-Sanche, 42, of Bound Brook. No injuries were reported in the accident, and no summonses have been issued.

Police received a report of criminal mischief at 5:50 p.m., when a Mt. Horeb Road resident reported someone destroyed their mailbox sometime between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. that morning.

A report of criminal mischief at Watchung Hills Regional High School was made at 11:32 p.m., after someone reported a "No Parking" sign at the school had been damaged.

May 8

Police responded to a report of an accident on Hillcrest Road at 10:27 a.m., after a vehicle driven by Keith Udson, 21, of Middlesex, allegedly side-swiped a vehicle driven by Eddy Lorenzo, 29, of Stanhope. No injuries were reported in the incident, and no charges have been filed. 

May 6

Timothy Arches, 20, of Gillette, was charged with DWI after police stopped the vehicle he was driving on Mountain Boulevard at 1:17 a.m. He was released after the charge was filed, pending an appearance in municipal court.

Oscar Solis, 38, of Plainfield and an employee of Nite Time Decor, was taken by Medivac helicopter to Morristown Memorial Hospital at about 11 a.m. after he fell nearly 60 feet while placing landscape lighting in a tree at a Cardinal Drive residence.
