Hackensack Driver Charged After Accident
Warren Township Police report two accidents during weekend.
Madhuri Kankanala, 27, of Hackensack, was charged with careless driving at 3:34 p.. June 29, after the vehicle she was driving was hit by a vehicle driven by Frank Mazzariello, 64, of Somerset, as she turned in front of Mazzariello's vehicle on Warrenville Road.
First Aid and Rescue Squad volunteers responded to the scene to treat injuries, but both drivers refused medical attention.
Warren police also reported a hit-and-run accident Friday, when a driver reported a vehicle swerving into her lane on Stirling Road, near Community Place, at about 10:33 a.m. and hitting the driver's side rear-view mirror. The driver was unable to provide a description of the vehicle that hit her vehicle.
