Bridgewater Man Charged With Vehicle Break-ins

March 2

Daniel Dinorscio, 42, of Gillette, was charged with DUI at 1:46 a.m., after a motor vehicle stop on Hillcrest Road. He was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving, and failing to keep right.

He was released pending an appearance in municipal court after the charges were filed.

Ryan Vlachos, 23, of Bridgewater, was charged with four counts of burglary, three counts of theft, and possession of burglary tools at 1:17 a.m. following an investigation into the recent series of vehicle break-ins.

He was turned over to Somerset County Jail, pending a court appearance.

A Mountain Avenue resident reported the theft of a GPS unit, valued at $110, and $180 in cash from a vehicle at 12:17 p.m.

Feb. 28

Several reports of theft from vehicles were reported Monday morning, including the theft of $2,900 of items from a construction site trailer on Hillcrest Boulevard.

A Geiger Lane resident reported at 6 a.m. that someone had taken items valued at $350 from a vehicle sometime during Sunday night. Also, a North Lane resident reported the theft of a GPS unit valued at $100.

Charges with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana are pending against Jonathan Schwartz, 18, of Warren, was police discovered marijuana in his vehicle following an accident in which the vehicle he was driving on King George Road at about 5 p.m. crashed into a tree. Schwartz was injured in the accident and taken to Morristown Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Feb. 26

A 27-year-old woman was flown to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at 9:37 a.m., after a vehicle rolled and pinned her in the garage of an Arrighi Drive residence.  Warren fire department and Rescue Squad also responded to the scene to assist with extricating the victim.

She was released by the hospital as of Sunday afternoon.

Feb. 25

A tire falling off a trailer pulled by a truck driven by Jay Martin, 51, of Penns Park, Pa., was struck by a vehicle driven by Bonnie Vigneri, 36, of Hillsborough, at 3:42 p.m. on Mt. Bethel Road. No injuries were reported and no summonses were issued in the incident.
