Hit and Run Mailbox Damage Reported in Warren

Damage supposed to have taken place during six-day span.

Warren Township Police last Friday responded mid-day to a call about a mailbox that had been damaged some time between Sept. 1 to Sept. 6, township police said.

The incident, categorized as a hit and run, was reported to police shortly before 11:30 a.m., police said.

The value of the mailbox was about $200, according to the police report. The home with the reported damage is on Stockade Road, police said.

Police filed a report. No further information was available as of Monday.
