Hunters Trail, Hill Hollow Residents Report Thefts

Both incidents reported Monday but one could have occurred anytime since the end of May.

Warren police are investigating a pair of thefts reported Monday, including a burglary in which thieves removed part of an exterior door to gain entry.

The Hunters Trail resident reporting the break-in said someone removed the window pane from an exterior door to get inside the house sometime between July 30 and Aug. 5. The theft was reported at 9:23 a.m. Monday, and the residents are still determining what items may have been taken.

At about noon Monday, a Hill Hollow Road resident reported someone had taken three pieces of jewelry, valued at $1,985 in total, sometime between May 28 and Aug. 5.

Police said there were no signs of forced entry to the house.
