Three Vehicle Accident on Stirling Road

Warren Township Police Department's daily activity reports for the week of Jan. 29.

Feb. 2

Jacob Andriola, 18, of Watchung, was charged with careless driving after the vehicle he was driving on Stirling Road, near Francis Road, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Sean Mullican, 30, of Gillette, which was forced into a vehicle driven by Andrew Wong, 17, of Millington, at 6:46 p.m. No injuries were reported in the accident.

Feb. 1

Stanley Nicdzwiecki Jr., 48, of Warren, was taken to Morristown Memorial Medical Center after reporting back pain and lacerations he received when he lost control of the vehicle he was driving on Briarwood Drive West and went off the road at 1:47 a.m. Nicdzwiecki left the scene, and police found him at his nearby home. No charges have been filed, but are reported pending.

A Liberty Village resident reported to police at 11:54 a.m. someone had used her identity information to claim an income tax refund. The amount of the refund stolen was not released.

Jan. 29

A Larson Lane resident reported electronic items, valued at $449, were stolen from a vehicle at the residence sometime during the night.

Jan. 28

No injuries were reported following an accident at 3:31 p.m. at the intersection of Mountain Avenue and Stirling Road, when a vehicle driven by Anthony Dirosa, 18, of Watchung, hit a vehicle driven by Teresa Dibianca, 70, of Warren.

Jan. 27

No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Trivell Williams, 34, of East Orange, struck the concrete divider on Hillcrest Road, on the Route 78 overpass, at 12:21 a.m.

An office on Independence Boulevard reported six laptop computers, valued at $3,000, had been stolen from the offcie on Jan. 25. The report was made at 11 a.m.

Christine Porchetta, 47, of Martinsville, was charged with driving an unregistered vehicle at 3:15 p.m., after the vehicle she was driving on Mt. Behel Road, near Mountain Boulevard, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Estelle Handler, 62, of Warren. No injuries were reported in the incident.
