Police Return Stolen Tool Box After Report Made

March 17

After a North Lane resident reported a tool box had been stolen several weeks ago at 2:51 p.m. Thursday, police were able to close a case. The tool box had already been recovered, and was being stored at police headquarters.

Police returned the missing tools to the owner.

No summonses were issued following a three-car accident at 7:25 a.m. on Dubois Road, at Mt. Bethel Road. The accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Mary Lamson, 75, of Green Brook, hit vehicles driven by Carla Marano, 17, of Green Brook, and one driven by Robert Ulis Sr., 43, of Piscataway, both of which were stopped.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

An accident occurred at 9:49 a.m. on Mt. Bethel Road, just north of Mountain Avenue, when a vehicle driven by Victoria Seavey, 49, of North Plainfield, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Steven Kulisz, 45, of Green Brook. No one reported injuries in the accident, and no charges were filed.

March 15

Burglars took various tools and mower equipment, valued at $46,850, from a Hillcrest Road site. Police are investigating the theft.

March 11

A Briarwood Drive West resident reported at 8:27 a.m. that someone had taken a laptop computer and carrying case from a vehicle. No estimated value of the items taken was reported.

Yunus Rozyyev, 25, of Basking Ridge, was charged with careless driving at 2:43 p.m. after the vehicle driven by Rozyyev struck a vehicle driven by Maria Alves, 51, of Colonia, after allegedly making an illegal turn on Mt. Bethel Road and Mountain Boulevard. No injuries were reported in the accident.

No summonses were issued after a motor vehicle accident on Mt. Bethel Road, near Maxwell Court, at 2:50 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Michelle Markota, 31, of Flemington, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Vankata Koppula, 32, of Farmington, Mich. No injuries were reported in the accident.

March 13

A vehicle driven by Sejal Jain, 36, of Green Brook, left the roadway after the driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer on Mt. Bethel Road, near Mt. Horeb Road, at 12:52 a.m. No injuries were reported in the incident and no summonses were issued.
