Vehicle Fails to Stop at Intersection

Aug. 11

Police responded to an accident at 8:08 a.m. at Stirling Road, near Mountain Avenue, after a vehicle driven by Debra Mills, 56, of North Plainfield, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Danny Larsen, 55, of Watchung. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident, and no charges have been filed.

No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Avinash Hingorani, 19, or Basking Ridge, failed to stop at the intersection of Mt. Horeb and King George roads at 11:05 p.m., hitting a vehicle driven by Laura Godleski, 18, of Warren. No charges were filed after the accident.

Aug. 10

Paresh Rana, 41, of North Brunswick, was charged with careless driving after the vehicle he was driving was hit by a vehicle driven by Jennifer Pote, 19, of Watchung, as he was exiting a driveway and pulling into traffic on Mt. Horeb Road, near King George Road, at about 9:10 a.m.  No injuries were reported at the scene.

Kathleen Sullivan, 55, of Washington, refused treatment for back pains she reported after the vehicle she was driving on Mt. Bethel Road, at Crown Drive, was hit in the rear by a vehicle driven by Frank Broussard, 43, of Gibbstown, at 9:39 a.m. No summonses were issued at the scene.  

Aug. 9

At 6:10 p.m., an Ellsworth Drive resident reported a fraudulent $2,500 charge to a credit card.

Aug. 7

Police responded to an accident at 1:45 p.m. near the Hillcrest Avenue overpass after a vehicle driven by Susan Shamalian, 57, of West Orange, hit a vehicle driven by Darrio Signorelli, 47, of Oak Ridge. Shamalian was charged with careless driving, and refused medical treatment for injuries at the scene of the accident.

Aug. 5

Police reported a hit-and-run occuring after a Robin Road resident called at 7:38 a.m. to report damage to their property sometime during the night, when someone drove on the property with a vehicle.

Police responded to an accident on King George Road, near Mt. Horeb Road, at about 10 a.m. after a vehicle driven by Irene Ferguson, 56, of Warren, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Patricia Washington, 57, of Martinsville. Ferguson complained of minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene of the accident.
