Local Runners at Marathon

Warren residents John Kwon and Suzanne Quense participated in today's Boston Marathon, finishing well ahead of the two explosions which killed two people and injured dozens more near the marathon's finish line today. 

Quense completed the race at 2:22 p.m.; Kwon finished at 2:51 p.m., just two minutes after the explosions.

Information about the status of participants is difficult, with some only able to relay their information via Facebook pages. John Touhill posted on the Warren Facebook page that he had heard Quense was safe and on her way home.
