Thieves Strike at Racquet Club

Warren Township Police Department's daily activity reports for the week of June 20.

June 22

Police responded to two theft reports from visitors at the Warren Health and Racquet Club, Wednesday. At 9:05 a.m., a report was made that someone had taken car keys from a locker, opened the victim's car and stole two credit cards and an undisclosed amount of cash.

A second report, made at 5:20 p.m., reported the theft of three credit cards and a New Jersey driver's license from a locker sometime between 7 a.m. and 7:45 a.m.

Two more incidents of property damage were reported by Sneider Road residents. At 1:28 p.m., police received a report of a damaged mailbox, followed by a report at 1:29 p.m. of damage to a lawn ornament.

A Mountain View Road resident reported someone made charges to their credit card account fraudulently.

June 20

Police responded to an accident at 12:57 pm. on Saw Mill Road, after Christopher Hart Jr., 18, of Warren, lost control of the vehicle he was driving and crashed into the woods several hundred feet from Reinman Road. No injuries were reported.

June 19

Police are investigating reports of nine mailboxes belonging to Sneider Road residents damaged sometime during the night of June 18, after residents began reporting the damage at 5:39 a.m. No estimate of the costs to repair or replace the mailboxes was available.

June 17

Police responded to an accident on Mountainview Road, near Liberty Corner Road, at 12:31 p.m after a vehicle driven by Manojkum Kasam, 27, of Piscataway, hit the side of a vehicle driven by Gina Arancio, 45, of Warren. No injuries were reported in the incident, and no summonses were issued at the scene of the accident.
