Montville Police Say Somerset Man was Stealing Used Cooking Oil
Case sounds similar to incident in Warren.
Montville police charged Akim Brock with theft May 9, after he was caught tking used cooking oil from a local restaurant.
Montville police said they believe Brock, a resident of Somerset County, was trying to sell the oil—he allegedly had more used cooking oil stored in a box truck he had with him that had a pump attached.
Some of which may have been from a Warren business—which was reported stolen May 2.
