NJ.com: Two Men Captured After High-Speed Chase on I-78

State Police chase vehicle through several towns before capture in Warren.

New Jersey State Police chased two men in a white Oldsmobile on Route 78 through several towns in a high-speed chase that ended at about 3:15 p.m. in Warren, NJ.Com reported.

The chase began when officers tried to stop the westbound vehicle in Bridgewater at about 2 p.m. The website reported State Police Spokesman Stephen Jones said it was unclear why the driver of the vehicle, whose name hasn't been released, took off and lead troopers on a chase through Bedminster and Bernards, traveling through the towns several times on Routes 78 and 287 at high speeds—at times, exceeding 100 mph.

State police lost sight of the car, NJ.Com said, but received a report from Warren Township Police that the car was seen on King George Road. The two men in the car ditched the vehicle in a corporate center parking lot, but were captured by state police and taken into custody.
