Sandalwood Resident Reports Fraudulent Credit Card Charge

Warren police reports for the week of May 6.

May 9

A Sandalwood Drive resident reported someone was able to make an unauthorized $64.19 transaction on a credit card account.

David Silva, 32, of Warren, was charged with driving with a suspended license, having an expired registration, failing to maintain lane, failing to have his vehicle inspected and careless driving at 11:13 a.m. after he lost control of the vehicle he was driving on Cherry Tree Lane and hit a parked vehicle. No injuries were reported at the scene.

May 8

No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Frank Righetti, 70, of North Plainfield, was hit by a vehicle driven by Maria Yglesias, 56, of Basking Ridge, as Righetti pulled into traffic on Morning Glory Road from Hunters Trail at 7:44 a.m. Righetti reported being unable to see the oncoming traffic due to high brush, police said. No charges have been filed.
