$14K Fraud Incident Under Investigation, Cops Say

Warren Police also probe theft of tool bag, laptop computer.

Warren police received reports of a major fraud incident and a workplace theft on Tuesday.

At 5:37 p.m., a Bailiwick Drive resident reported an incident of fraud, involving a total of $14,000. Police are continuing to investigate the fraud, with additional details expected as the investigation develops.

Police also received a report from a South Plainfield resident that a tool bag and laptop computer, valued at $900, had been stolen from his Mt. Bethel Road workplace.
