Teen Charged With Driving Without License

Sept. 6

A 16-year old boy from Millington was charged with careless driving and driving without at 2:2 p.m., after the vehicle he was driving on Dubois Road struck a curb at the intersection with Reinman Road. No injuries were reported.

Sept. 4

Somerset Hills Hotel reported two vehicles had been burgarized overnight in the hotel parking lot. The first incident, reported at 8:38 a.m., noted an iPod valued at $300; the second, reported at 12:10 p.m., reported a GPS and a pair of sunglasses, valued at $400 altogether, stolen.

At 9:58 p.m., a Strawberry Lane resident reported damage to the windshield of a vehicle at the residence. No estimate fo the cost to repair or replace was provided.

Sept. 3

At 9:41 a.m., a Quail Run resident reported someone had fraudulently withdrawn $20,000 from a bank account.

At 1:09 p.m., a resident of Roberts Road reported someone forged the amount on a check, making the total $1,100.

Sept. 2

Paul Tu, 43, of Watchung, was charged with careless driving at 4:25 p.m. after the vehicle he was driving on Mountain Boulevard hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Aditi Mukherjee, 31, Edison, at the intersection of Old Stirling Road.

Cyrus Rodrigues, 18, of Stirling, was charged with disorderly conduct after police stopped the vehicle he was driving on Valley Road at 10:14 p.m. He was released after the charegs were field, pending an appearance in municipal court.
