Resident Reports Fraudulent Credit Card Charges

Warren Township Police also investigating laptop theft, alleged oversees check cashing scheme.

A Smoke Rise Drive resident reported fraudulent charges on a credit card, Warren Township police said.

The report was made Sunday at about 2 p.m. According to police, the victim is still working to determine the extent of the false charges.

On Sept. 20, a Sage Drive resident reported having been the victim of an overseas check cashing scheme. Details of the incident haven't been released yet.

Also on Sept. 20, a laptop valued at $1,500 was reported stolen from a Technology Drive office. The theft was reported at about 2:45 p.m., but no timeframe for the theft wasreported.
