Trio of Mt. Bethel Road Accidents Keep Police Busy

Warren Township Police Department's daily activity reports for the week of Oct. 16.

Oct. 20

Police responded to an accident at the intersection of Mt. Bethel Road and Mt. Horeb Road at 12:20 p.m. after a vehicle driven by William Brown, 62, of Warren, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Theresa Straub, 47, of Dunellen. No injuries were reported, although Atlantic Ambulance personnel responded to check the drivers because their vehicle's air bags had deployed.

An accident at Mt Bethel Road and Hillcrest Boulevard occurred at 12:51 p.m., after a vehicle driven by Nour Jepara, 24, of Far Hills, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Ryan Sutherland, 33, of Belleville. No injuries were reported.

At 3:51 p.m., another accident occurred at Mt. Bethel Road and Hillcrest Boulevard, when a vehicle driven by Danielle Spina, 18, of Far Hills, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Debra Ross, 52, also of Far Hills. No injures were reported i the accident.

Oct. 17

Abdullah Farah, 36, of Minnesota, was charged with careless driving and failure to show valid vehicle registration after the tractor-trailer he was driving on Mountain Boulevard hit a traffic signal pole at the intersection with Mt. Bethel Road at 2:26 p.m.

Police responded to a Morning Glory Road residence after a wire was pulled from the residence when it begame entanged on a ladder on a truk driven by Peter Wolfmayer, 54, of High Bridge, at 4:16 p.m. No injuries were reported in the incident.
