Thieves Take Items from Unlocked Vehicles

Three Warren residents reported items stolen from their unlocked vehicles between Monday evening and Tuesday morning, police said.

The reports included a laptop computer, taken from a vehicle parked at a Chesterfield Drive residence, a Sirius satellite radio receiver taken from a vehicle parked at a William Penn Road residence, and a purse taken from a vehicle on Blue Jay Court.

The purse was recovered from a bush near the vehicle, but its contents were taken.

All of the vehicles were unlocked, and the vehicle on Blue Jay Court had an open window.

No estimates of the value of the stolen items was available.
