Driver Cited After Hitting Curb

Warren police reports for the week of June 3.

June 7

Justin Glazier, 18, Warren, was charged with careless and reckless driving after he lost control of the vehicle he was driving on Firethorn Court at 10:53 a.m. and struck a curb, after police performed a motor vehicle stop. He was also charged with speeding and failing to maintain a lane. Glazier suffered minor injuries in the incident, but refused medical attention.

No injuries were reported after a vehcile driven by Andrew Buckner, 20, of Warren, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Francis Simmons, 38, of Warren, on King George Road at 3:04 p.m.

June 5

No injuries were reported after vehicle driven by Jiahua Ye, 18, of Watchung, went off the roadway on Mountain Avenue and struck concrete steps at a residence, at 11 a.m.  

June 4

No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by John Rispolli, 38, of Raritan, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Alexander Waugh, 62, of Lambertville, at 9:21 a.m. as the vehicles were traveling on Morning Glory Road. No charges have been filed in the incident.  

June 2

A New York resident reported a wallet stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on Arrighi Drive sometime during the night. The wallet contained $50 in cash, plus a New York driver's license.

Jessica Lyons, 22, of Elmont, N.Y., and John Fellin, 23, of North Plainfield, were taken to Overlook Hospital at 11:10 a.m. for treatment of minor injuries received after the vehicle Lyons was driving on Reinman Road was hit by a vehicle driven by Joseph Busch, 24, of Warren, as Busch was pulling onto Reinman Road. Busch was charged with failing to maintain his lane.

Warren First Aid and Rescue Squad and Mercy 6, from Muhlenberg Medical Center, responded to the accident scene.

At 9:51 p.m., a Swedesboro resident reported someone smashed the rear window of her vehicle as she was attending a party on Mountainview Road.
