Vehicle Flips, Woman Injured in Pair of Crashes on Same Night

Two accidents occurred on Warren roads Thursday night, according to township police reports.

Warren Township Police reported two crashes on Thursday night, including one in which a passenger of a car was injured, and a second in which a vehicle landed on its side.

In the first, reported at about 6:30 p.m. on Mount Horeb Road near Briarwood Drive East, a vehicle driven by Colin McManus, 42, of Warren, struck another from behind that was driven by 23-year-old Thomas Breisch, of Warren, a police report issued on Friday said.

A passenger in Breisch's vehicle, Leigh Cavanagh, 22, of Warren, reported neck pain, and was transported to Overlook Hospital by the Warren Township Rescue Squad. Breisch's vehicle was towed by Bardy Farm's Towing, according to the police report.

No summons were issued, police said.

Later that night, at 11:10 p.m., Ramaswamy Nagappan, 52, of Warren, apparently lost control of his vehicle, and veered off King George Road near Canterbury Court, police said.

His vehicle turned on its side, and Nagappan had to be extricated by the Warren Township Fire Department, the police report. He was evaluated by the Warren EMS, but declined further treatment, according to police. No summons was issued, and Bardy Farm's Towing removed the vehicle, police said.
