Moped Rider Injured After Sliding on Gravel

July 14

Edward Zohn, 54, was taken to Somerset Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries he suffered after sliding on gravel while riding a moped on King George Road, at Ferguson Road, at 9:31 a.m.

At 8:50 p.m., a Broadway Road resident reported the theft of a skateboard ramp, valued at $75.

July 13

A passenger in a vehicle driven by Rosa Leigh, 62, of North Arlington,  was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by Thomas Kreiger, 31, of Watchung, on King George Road, at Crown Drive, at about 1:10 p.m. refused treatment at the scene. Krieger was charged with careless driving.

July 11

A vehicle driven by Robert Lang, 63, of Warren, on Reinman Road, near Roseland Avenue, was hit by a vehicle driven by Gloria Fernandi, 85, of Millington, as she was pulling out of a driveway. No injuries were reported at the scene.
