Warren Firefighters Join Hillsborough Wetdown
Head to Hillsborough for the dedication of new fire equipment.
Fire companies adding new equipment have a tradition--hosting a wetdown, where fellow firefighters join in hosing the new trucks--and each other--down.
Saturday, several Warren volunteer firefighters joined the fun at a wetdown hosted by Hillsborough's Woods Road Volunteer Fire Co. no. 3. The firefighters participated in a seven-truck "water fight," getting their sprays in against the others.
About two dozen fire companies from companies in Hunterdon, Middlesex, Union and Somerset counties joined the event, which also included music, food and refreshments, and raffles.
