Driver Charged with Failing to Yield

July 19

William Devine, 59, of Morristown, was charged with fialing to yield to oncoming traffic after the vehicle he was driving was hit a vehicle driven by Mario Testa, 70, of Warren, after pulling into traffic from a parkign lot on Stirling Road, just north of Mountain Avenue. No injuries were reported in the incident.

July 18

Police responded to an accident on Mt. Horeb Road, near Camp Harmony, at 5:14 p.m., after a vehicle driven by John Kwon, 19, of Warren, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Zach Duchon, 18, of Warren. No injuries were reported and no one was charged in the accident.

July 16

At 12:36 p.m., police responded to an accident on Mt Bethel Road, near Mountain Boulevard, after a vehicles driven by Sharon Ingber, 49, of Warren, and Donna Falk, 58, also of Warren, side-swiped each other. No injuries were reported at the scene.

July 15

Jose Cunha, 43, of Warren, was charged with DUI, careless driving, refusing to submit to a breath test, failing to maintan lanes and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, after he was stopped while driving on King George Road, near Crown Drive, at 1:59 a.m.

At 9:08 a.m., police responded to an accident on Mt. Bethel Road, near Maxwell Court, after a vehicle driven by Kenneth Liou, 19, of Piscataway, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Louis Sobo, 30 of Scotch Plains. No injuries were reported, and no one received a summons at the scene of the accident.

Police investigated a case of criminal mischief on Winding Ridge Way, after a resident reported at 8:35 a.m. that someone had uprooted and thrown a mailbox. The report was followed at 9:14 a.m. by a complaint by neighbor that the mailbox damaged a light post when it was thrown, and their mailbox was pulled up and thrown in another yard.
