Two-car accident sends woman to Morristown Medical Center Saturday.

The woman taken by Medivac transport to Morristown Medical Center after the vehicle she was driving hit the rear of another vehicle and went off the roadway on I-78 late Saturday is listed in fair condition, state police said.

The 32-year-old woman, whose name has not been released, was taken after the Ford Explorer she was driving hit the rear of a Subaru Forrester, while traveling westbound near the 38.5-mile marker on I-78 (about a mile east of the King George Road exits) at 10:19 p.m., State Police Acting Sgt. Adam Grossman said Sunday.

Both vehicles overturned, and the Subaru came to a rest on the center lane. The driver of that vehicle was treated for minor injuries, Grossman said.
